The British Broadcasting Corporation’s online website is Britain’s most viewed with a total of around 14 million viewers per month worldwide. The BBC has been in service for 50 years which displays its credibility for it would have been shut down if it was giving out false news continuously. The BBC is a quasi-autonomous corporation authorized by Royal Charter. This means that it is financed by the government but acts independently of it; therefore, it is apparent that the government trusts this news source to deliver accurate and honest news reports, because otherwise, the government would not fund them. BBC News journalists, cameramen, and programmers have won various awards from the Royal Television Society, a British-based educational charity. This proves the credibility and honor that this news service is viewed with.
